KA-BAR model #1255 3/4 black Tactical Tanto with partially serrated blade edge is an uniquely designed tactical fixed blade knife which has become very popular because of it's size and the advantages of the Tanto blade.
Knife features a 5 1/4" (1095) carbon steel blade with a (HRC 56-58) hardness rating. Its has an extremely sharp hollow ground blade edge, a pointed razor like tip designed to penetrate through even the toughest materials quickly, and a partially serrated edge section providing extra cutting power when dealing with tough materials such as braided rope.
The handle is crafted of non slip Kraton G Elastomer which gives the user excellent grip control.
