KA-BAR / Becker "CREWMAN" Fixed Blade Survival Utility Knife.
Ethan Becker has now reintroduced the BK-10 CREWMAN made exclusively through KA-BAR Knives.
The BK-10 was Ethan Becker's original design as a replacement for the early issued pilot survival knife of many years ago.
The Crewman is constructed of 0.188” thick 1095 Cro-Van steel with a hardness rating of 56-58.
This full tang drop point knife offers a 5 ½” straight edge blade which has been flat ground to 20-degree edge angle for an excellent cutting edge and better edge retention.
The overall length of this survival knife measures 10 7/8”
The knife offers a thumb ramp for added stability when applying pressure while cutting, a glass shattering extended pommel, and black Ultramid scales.
The Crewman comes with its own Molle compatible Heavy-Duty Polyester sheath with front cargo pocket for sharpeners or fire starter items.
The Crewman is made exclusively in Olean, New York and proudly etched with the BK&T / KA-BAR brand name.
One of the many unique made to work knife designs of Ethan Becker.
