KA-BAR MULE heavy-duty Desert Tan lockback folder that is big, feels solid in the hand, and is tough enough to tackle the most demanding chores.
It is the folding knife's answer to the fixed-blade knife made famous by KA-BAR; the Mule is just as versatile, reliable and rugged.
The Mule series has been used in the theater of operations in Iraq, subjected to its harsh environments, and is still serving its functions today.
Knife has heavy-duty stainless-steel liners which provide lateral strength.
The blade is made of AUS 8A Stainless Steel and is hollow ground for a razor-sharp cutting edge.
The 3 13/16" clip point blade is available in the above partially serrated edge which helps when cutting through tough materials such as braided nylon rope as well as with a full straight edge blade version, model (3050)
The double thumb studs assist in easy one-hand-opening for either right or left-hand users.
The scales are constructed of Desert Tan Zytel with Kraton G elastomer inserts to ensure a comfortable and slip resistant grip.
Knife comes with a nylon sheath, fitted with Velcro, a snap closure so that it can be mounted horizontally or vertically on a belt, LBV, BA, and has a reversible pocket clip.
