This dagger is marked H.G. Long & Co., Est. 1846, Sheffield, England in the shield stamp.
Side one depicts the words "The Battle-For a Road"
Side two depicts "In honor of the-Ledo-Burma Road" The under text depicts the Ledo, India Star and the Kunming, China Sun. The minor text depicts: "Started Fall 42 and Completed 28 Jan 45" as well as Distance-1,044 Miles.
Knife comes in a WWII Victory Collection black case and is marked with Limited Edition.
Issued By The American Historical Foundation of Richmond, Virginia.
Dagger is new, never used, and in original box.
